managing utility costs is an important aspect for both admins, property managers, and tenants the process of updating and verifying meter readings ensures accurate and timely billing this document elaborates on how to log in, navigate the utility dashboard, and update your electricity meter reading with a screenshot access the utility page after successful login, you will be redirected to the dashboard now, click on the leasing section under the leasing section, find and click on “utility” this will open the utility page utility overview after clicking on the utility, the utility page will open the page displays three main categories water gas electricity charges view electricity charges in the utility page, click on the electricity charges section this will open a detailed view of the electricity related charges and meter readings the electricity charges section displays the following fields rental unit meter start reading start reading date meter end reading end reading date updated on reading status meter reading image action update meter reading screenshot now, for the meter reading screenshot, click on electricity charges next to the meter reading image field, you will see an "update" button click on this button to start uploading the meter reading screenshot clicking the update button will open the electricity charges meter reading page fill out required details enter or confirm the reading start date enter or confirm the meter end reading specify the reading end date upload the screenshot of the meter reading after filling in all the required details, click on the submit button confirm meter reading update once you click submit , the meter reading will be updated in the system successfully verify meter reading screenshot upload to verify the update, go to the electricity charges section there will be an arrow icon next to the relevant reading click this arrow to expand the details screenshot view you will now be able to see that the meter reading screenshot has been uploaded successfully by following these given steps, the meter reading screenshot will be successfully uploaded and visible in the system for future reference
