a property type defines the primary purpose and physical structure of a real estate asset, whether it is residential, commercial, or industrial in property management, different properties serve different purposes from homes for families to spaces for businesses and co working professionals accurately defining and managing these property types helps smooth operations, improve rentals, and provide a better user experience this guide introduces the most common property types and walks you through the steps to add, edit, or manage these categories within your system’s configuration settings common property types 1\ residential property designed for people to live in examples single family homes apartments townhouses duplexes 2\ commercial property used for business activities examples office buildings retail stores shopping malls hotels 3\ cowork property used for flexible, shared office space managing property types enter your credentials (username and password) once logged in, go to the settings section from the main dashboard access the configuration section now go to the settings section click on the settings tab to expand its menu options now click on the configuration tab select property type under the configuration menu, find and select property type this section will display a list of all existing property types within the erp add/edit property types after clicking on property type, the page will open you can either edit an existing property type or add a new one edit a property type click the edit button next to the property type you want to modify fill in the required details such as the property type name and description once all required information is entered, click save changes after clicking save changes, property type will be updated successfully add property type click the add property type button click the add property type button a new page will open containing fields for property type name and description fill in the required information click save changes to finalize after clicking save changes, the new property type will be added successfully
